It may be raining..

Don't you draw the queen of diamonds boy
She'll beat you if she's able.
You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet.
Now it seems to me, some fine things

Have been laid upon your table.
But you only want the ones
That you can't get.

It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you.

Lyrics from Desperado - Juwita Suwito (org; the Eagles)

When something's wrong with the Right...

Rotator Cuff Injuries - Rotator Cuff muscles (Subscapularis, Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus and Teres Minor) are small muscles situated around the shoulder joint, which can become damaged during the stresses of Badminton.I'm feeling so frustrated over my injured hand. How I wish I am ambidextrous.

I can't play badminton! No sports for me. =( I can't play both piano and guitar for long. I can't write. I can't carry the baby nieces and nephews. I can't operate long for clinics. I can't do extraction - if it prolongs til next week. I just realised how much my right hand meant to me.

Everything's wrong when my right isn't functioning.

Sigh.

I miss sports!! =(

PoStCaRds..

it's Raya hols. I've received 3 postcards from Jenna! =) Feels so good to be remembered all the way through her hols - DC, NYC and HK! Aunty Wai Cheng passed me a souvenir which Jenna got for me from SZ. It's a blue scarf. THANKS!! I'm even more determined now to visit her in US..of course, after I start earning my own money.

Through the weekend, I've attended Brother Edwin's and Joy's wedding in SP. My first time attending a wedding with my coursemates. Makes me wonder when's the next time we will do that again - definitely someone from within our own course. Maybe our seniors who just left us will start inviting us for wedding soon. Really soon.

On stage..see those joyful grins on the bride and bridegroom's faces. And so we teased Edwin being the most JOY-ful man from then on. Ah..;)

Aunty Lydia, the most motherly and kind lady in church. And on that day, she was the most JOY-ful mother of all. =D

Amongst the line-up of programmes for the wedding dinner was Pastor John and his band performance. They sang some oldies; Can't help falling in love, Getaran Jiwa by P.Ramlee. Apparently none of those from my table knows this P.Ramlee song! I'm very surprised because it is the most popular malay song choice for singing competition during BM Week in secondary school.

Aunty Esther, Pastor John's wife related her love story to us in a ten-minute summary. When they first met, Pastor John asked for her favourite song and played it on guitar right away. That night itself, Aunty Esther waved to us as a signal when the Pastor started singing it on stage. We had such a good time cheering, teasing and laughing that night. Gerv said she could imagine someone singing her her favourite song in future. I wish I could too. :)
